DREAMS DELAYED ARE NOT DREAMS DENIED
Everyone has a specific dream: a dream job,
dream career, or other special dreams people see themselves achieving. Some
dreams come true much sooner and when you least expect them, while some take more
time to come true.
Very few people live their dreams through
inheritance, which they have received on a silver platter. Most people had to
sweat and go through so much trouble to make their dreams come true. Their dreams
required them to toughen up although it was not easy. They faced some tough
challenges that seemed impossible for them to overcome, but they still strived
to achieve their dreams.
A few months back, I came across an online
magazine called Calf Magazine. It is an online magazine owned by
a young dedicated and hard-working woman. She details in one of the articles
that during her high school years she faced so much hardship that led her into
depression. Her dream was to become a make-up artist, and eventually she
pursued her dream. With everything she went through in her life, she did not
want her dream to fade without giving it a fight. It is an inspiring story. It
leads one to understand that when one person thinks of giving up, they should dig
deep within themselves to believe in themselves that what they are facing today
will eventually be overcome.
Well, I didn’t believe that dreams can come
true but after reading her blog, she has inspired me that they eventually come
true but with the dedication and effort you put towards your dreams. Some
people are now living their dreams because they did not let their dreams pass
by without a fight. Even though sometimes dreams may not come true at the time when
you want and wish they can, but it doesn’t mean giving up in life is an option.
Remember that dreams delayed are not dreams denied.
Well, I still have to think about my dream
though, but for those who have them, strive to achieve them and never give up.
They may be delayed, but they will come true.
